Abstract
Over the past few decades, advances in computer and internet technologies have significantly transformed the concepts of teaching and learning. This shift has attracted considerable attention from researchers in computer science and educational technology, leading to a wide range of empirical studies aimed at enhancing student learning outcomes. However, identifying a valuable and innovative research topic remains a major challenge.

In this lecture, Professor Hwang will introduce key concepts and strategies for developing innovative research ideas and selecting meaningful research topics. He will also discuss the standards and expectations for publishing in high-quality academic journals. Drawing on real-world examples, Professor Hwang will demonstrate effective approaches to topic selection that can enhance the value and impact of digital learning research.
