Take a solid foundation and look through the world ─The Graduate Institute of Taiwanese Literature of National Changhua University of Education as a pioneer in the training of Hokkien teachers.

        In response to the implementation of the Development of National Language Act in 108 and the revision of the Teacher Education Act, the Ministry of Education issued a special course for Hokkien Language in the secondary education stage in 109 to cultivate Hokkien language teachers in the future. National Changhua University of Education takes the cultivation of teachers and professional talents as the school's mission and shoulders this important task. The Graduate Institute of Taiwanese Literature began to plan the relevant courses for the training of Hokkien language teachers in 108. The Ministry of Education approved on May 18, 109 and implemented since the 109 school year.

        Aiming at workers who are interested in teaching local language, the Graduate Institute of Taiwanese Literature plans to launch various Hokkien language teacher training classes in collaboration with the Teacher Training Center and the School of Continuing Education. It recruits general students, current teachers, substitute teachers, and provides different training channels to meet their needs.

        Taiwan Arts Master Class (enrolling 10 students, starting from the 109 school year, you can study the "Secondary School Language Field Hokkien Language Specialty", it is expected to obtain a master's degree and the qualifications of Hokkien language teachers in two years), and the post-graduate education credit class will be opened in October, 109 (Recruit 40 agents and substitute teachers), secondary school Hokkien language teachers on-the-job training second specialty class (recruit 30 full-time teachers in secondary schools), each class and team according to its regulations to earn credits and issue native language in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Teacher Education Act and get certification.

        The Graduate Institute of Taiwanese Literature also applied to promote the establishment of Hokkien language teaching research and development center, combining with NCUE’s local resources to carry out Hokkien language teaching curriculum research and textbook teaching method development, education practice standard and evaluation, local guidance and other tasks.

        National Changhua University of Education has achieved excellent results in international rankings in recent years. In the 2020 World University Rankings, our school has achieved 1001+ results. There are 36 Taiwanese schools on the list. The school ranks 13th among national schools.
