Announcement for the 2025 Academic Year Master's Program Recommendation Admissions (Refer to the Admissions Office of NCUE)

Admission Quota
- A total of 10 students:
- Group A (Linguistics and English Language Teaching): 6
- Group B (British and American Literature): 4
- Early Admission: Accepted candidates may apply for early admission in February 2025.
Eligibility
- Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Graduates with a bachelor's degree (including expected graduates and early graduates with exceptional academic performance) from universities or colleges accredited by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan.
- Graduates with a bachelor's degree from foreign universities or colleges recognized by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan.
- Individuals who meet equivalent qualifications under Ministry of Education regulations (refer to Appendix 1).
- Language Proficiency Requirement:
Applicants must meet or exceed the CEFR B2 level, equivalent to:- GEPT High-Intermediate First Stage (Listening and Reading), or
- TOEIC Listening Score ≥ 400 and Reading Score ≥ 385.
Applicants must submit photocopies of English proficiency test certificates during registration and present the originals upon admission confirmation.

Admission Criteria
- Admissions will be based on the total evaluation score.
Notes
- For the 2024 academic year, the Department’s Master's Program was allocated 10 teacher training student slots by the Ministry of Education. The number for 2025 will be determined based on the Ministry's allocation.
- NCUE offers graduate students opportunities to enroll in teacher education programs. Eligibility for enrollment is determined through an internal selection process.
- Outstanding candidates will be admitted, and unused quotas may be reallocated between groups.
